After talking with a nice woman on the computer, she told me about a young woman that was interested in talking with me about my Moss family genealogy information and come to find out that she is Boyde's grand-daughter. She sent me some pictures of her grandparents and their children and then she sent me a picture of my great grandfather, William Lawrence Moss [1887-1959].
So after talking with a cousin of mine that is helping me with some of the Vickery genealogy information, we have decided to meet with her, on September 05, 2009 and see what information that she has and we can of course exchange information with her about our families. We can exchange information about her grandparents, Boyde Jackson Moss and Dovie Morton and my grandparents, Jewel Hazel Moss and Jesse Dewitt Vickery. She said that she always wondered what happened to the Vickery's and to be honest,I have always wondered what happened to the Moss family?
I do remember when I was younger that my grandmother having two (2) cousins by the name of Maud Moss and "Dink" Moss and they always called my grandmother, "cousin Jewel", so I am assuming that "Dink" and Maud either came from Boyde or from my grandmother's half-brother, Dewey? But our cousin said that she will get in touch with her mother and aunt and ask them if they have ever heard of "Dink" and Maud and how they are related to us? Just wish us luck?
